Therapies
The children who come to PPECs receive respiratory, physical, occupational and other therapies tailored to their individual needs.
Parents don't need to make a special trip to a therapist's office or outpatient facility -- and their children have the opportunity to interact with other youngsters with special medical needs. |

Nursing intervention/ medical supervision
Children discharged from the hospital receive follow-up care from nurses at the PPEC.
PPECs offer medically fragile children an alternative to homebound nursing services.
